5 Days Schedule Of ISSB


ISSB COMPLETE PROCEDURE

WHAT IS ISSB
ISSB stands for Inter Services Selection Board, the board who selects future officers for Armed Forces of Pakistan to serve their beloved motherland as a leader & as a defender of nation by keeping on stake their precious life. ISSB Test is among the series of tests conducted by ARMED FORCES OF PAKISTAN for candidates who want to join armed forces as a commissioned officer. After preliminary, intial medical & interview,there is an ISSB Test. Inter Services Selection Board comprises of mainly 3 bodies, which includes
  • PSYCHOLOGIST
  • GTO (Group Testing Officer) & 
  • Deputy President
Every one analyse the candidate in its own domain. Psychologist analyse the candidates through different kinds of personality tests e.g WAT(Word Association Test),Sentence completion Test & TAT(Thematic Apperception Test). GTO (Group Testing Officer) tests the mental & physical fitness of candidate through discussions, group tasks & individual obstacles, while Deputy President keep an eye on candidates bio data form which is filled by candidate & take interview to analyse the overall personality of candidate.

  • Allotment of ID / Chest numbers
  • Photographs
  • Administration Staff’s address
  • Completion of Board Questionnaires (Bio Data Form)

DAY 2 Routine (Psychologist's Day)
  • Opening Address by a Deputy President.
  • Intelligence Tests 
  • Announcement of screening out result
  • Remaining Psychological Tests
  • (Screened out Candidates will not attend the subsequent tests)

DAY 3 Routine (GTO's 1st Day)
  • Briefing
  • Indoor Tasks
  • Group Discussion
  • Group Planning
  • Outdoor Tasks
  • Progressive Group Task (PGT)
  • Half Group Task (HGT)
  • Interviews

DAY 4 Routine (GTO's 2nd Day)
  • Individual Obstacles.
  • Command Task
  • Final Group Task (FGT)
  • Interviews (leftovers)

DAY 5 Routine (Conference Day)
  • Conferences
  • Preparation of all the results
  • Dispersal of candidates
